RPLIDAR A2M12 is a 360-degree triangulation laser sensing scanner that samples at up to 16 kHz, capable of generating 2D point cloud map information for a 12m radius, within low precision, and running for up to 5 years. This next-generation low-cost, high-performance laser scanner will be your great instrument for in-home robots, 3D modelling, etc.

Description

RPLIDAR A2M12 applies the Triangulation Laser Sensing theory that emits and receives laser to measure the distance by calculating the receiving time. By embedded high-speed RPVision3.0 range engine, the RPLIDAR A2M12 offers 360 degrees, 12M radius, 16 kHz light detection and ranging, 0.225° angular resolution(10Hz) with 5 ~ 15Hz adjustable rotational speed, low sensing precision, 5 years reliable operation for the generation of 2D point cloud map information.

With the new brushless motor non-contact drive, the RPLIDAR A2M12 works with ultra-low noise. Additionally, its output laser power is as safe as IEC-60825 Class One eye safety. All of these make it an excellent tool for you to conduct positioning and obstacle detection. Being cup-size and light as 190g, it can be placed anywhere in your home or deployed on a domestic robot like a floor mopping robot, or home care robot.

This low-cost 2D laser scanner (LIDAR) remains high-performance and will be a great assistance to your demonstration of navigation and positioning.
