Pololu Distance Sensor with Pulse Width Output, 300 cm Max (#4079)

Pololu item #4079 is a compact lidar-based distance sensor with digital pulse width output and an approximate 300 cm maximum range for reflective targets in good ambient conditions. It operates from 3.0 to 5.5 V, has 2 mm resolution, and uses 0.1-inch pitch through-holes for its connections. The effective minimum measurement distance is about 4 cm.

Target reflectivity and ambient light affect the usable range. This is the version without the side-entry connector.
